For live production teams, and live casino studios in particular, audio processing has always meant dedicated hardware outside the video signal chain. Mixers, compressors, and EQs sitting in a separate rack, processing audio independently from the video, with the two signals having to be merged and embedded before reaching the compositor.
Composer now includes a built-in professional audio mixer that removes that step. Audio processing stays inside the compositor, in the same tool already handling the video.
Designed for unmanned studios
Live casino studios typically run without operators in the room. Everything is controlled via automation, which means an audio mixer that can only be adjusted manually is the wrong tool for the job.
Composer’s audio mixer can be controlled externally via API, Connectors, Websockets, and ScriptEngine. It fits into existing automation workflows, so audio levels, routing and processing can be adjusted programmatically as part of the same system controlling everything else in the studio.
